I got in a car accident on Friday afternoon at 3pm at the intersection of Gilbert and Baseline (mostly for AZ buddy purposes). It was so stupid too, cuz I totally went cymbal monkey for a sec and next thing this Chevy HHR was crossing my path making a left turn (hadn't started to turn yet and I t-boned her, I got her square on her drivers side door, lucky for her, she had side airbags which probably saved her life. I'm fine and apparantly, so is she. I hit my face on the steering wheel (no airbags, I think they got stolen bcuz the wheel was broken when I got the car) and broke my glasses, leaving a scratch and a big goose egg on my head, also, upon impact (about 30mph, i slammed on the brakes when i saw her) my right foot slipped off and under the brake pedal and the pedal left a pretty scratch on my foot. My right leg, shoulders and neck are a bit sore, but all things aside I'm fine. My front end (mostly drivers side) is totally squashed which means it'll cost a fortune to fix (I'll kill the insurance people if they total it) and my insurance rates will go thru the roof. It doesn't help that my mom's being quite a bitch about it now that she's assured I'm okay. But something good came out of this weekend, I get a note for swim team and dance to "take it easy" and I got a new phone (she was getting it b4 I got in the crash and only doesn't take it back bcuz the plan for us to share is cheaper/month and she signed a contract so she's stuck)
